The Tecno Spark 7P and Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphones have a lot of similar specifications. In this article I will show you what the differences and similarities between these two smartphones are. I will be using the 4GB+128GB versions of both smartphones.
Tecno Spark 7P
The Tecno Spark 7P is a 6.8″/172mm screen device with a 16MP rear camera, 5000mAh battery and 128GB Internal storage. There are two variations of the Tecno Spark 7P with the cheapest being the 64+4GB going for Ksh13,999 (USD144) and the 128+4GB version whose price has not yet been released in Kenya. My guess is that the 128+4GB version will for around Ksh17,999 (USD180).
From the left in the image above, the Tecno Spark 7P is available in Summer Mojito, Spruce Green, Alps Blue and Magnetic Black. I have with me the Tecno Spark 7P Alps Blue version that I did the unboxing with a few weeks ago.
Samsung Galaxy A12
On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy A12 is a 6.5″screen device with a 48MP Quad rear camera setup, 5000mAh battery and 128GB Internal storage. As you can tell from both images, the Tecno Spark 7P and Samsung Galaxy A12 devices both have a dot notch front camera.
There are also two variations of the Samsung Galaxy A12 with the cheapest being the 64+4GB going for Ksh16,400 (USD164) and the 128+4GB version going for Ksh19,999 (USD199).
One of the major difference that you can also see right away is with the rear camera setups. The Tecno Spark 7P has a triple camera rear camera set up while the Samsung Galaxy A12 has a quad rear camera setup. While the Samsung A12 has a single LED flash at the rear, the Spark 7P has a quad LED flash setup.
The choice of colours in the Galaxy A12 series is very simple. From the left in the image above we have Black, Red and Blue colours.

The Tecno excelled in the screen size, CPU front camera flash, maximum video quality and a lower price. On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy A12 excelled in the rear camera setup, fast charging, USB interface and a bigger external memory support.
Its shocking that the Samsung Galaxy A12 does not have a front Flash to accompany the front 8MP camera. On the other hand its also sad that the Tecno Spark 7P does not have a wide angle or macro camera at the back.
