Here are the results. I started the experiment at 1% charge with warnings to plug in the charger.

- 35 Min – 52%
- 40 Min – 57%
- 50 Min – 71%
- 1 Hour 10 Min – 93%
- 1 Hour 19 Min – 100%
It’s nice to note that I got to full battery capacity in1 Hour and 19 minutes which is 6 minutes faster than the vivo advertised figure of 85 minutes.
4-year battery health
The Y28 is still the slimmest/thinnest phone in the local market despite packing 6000mAh worth of battery capacity. vivo assurance is that the user will get a battery performance that is as good as new for 4 years. After 1600 cycles, the remaining charge cycle will be equal to or more than 80%.
