The much awaited Infinix Zero 4 is finally available in Kenya. From the first looks it is a beauty and the features packed into it make it much more fun to own and use. Be it for personal use or business use or both, the Infinix Zero 4 is a must have. Here I will explain all the cool features the Infinix Zero 4 has and how they make the use

Optical Image Stabilisation

That moment you press on the camera button to take a photo will determine whether your shot will be perfect or shaky. Infinix Zero 4 takes care of that problem by introducing optical image stabilisation. To better understand this I will give a very common example, our very own eyes. Have you ever been on a bumpy road in a vehicle looking at something through the window? On rough roads the objects out the car window seem to be stable even when your head is shaking around.

The Optical Image stabilisation (OIS) feature helps prevent handshake for the perfect picture or videos.

Laser Focus

In this photo the Flash is on the left side of the camera. The laser beam comes from that area below the flash LED. If you can see the small red dot (glad I could capture it), then that’s the Laser in action. In this photo the Camera App on the Infinix Zero 4 was ON.

The Laser focus allows for camera to object distsnce calculation so that the best possible picture can be taken. By the way, it also works for videos too.

Fingerprint Scanner

That circular depression below the camera is the fingerprint scanner. Setting up the fingerprint scanner is easy and it does a variety of functions. Apart from unlocking the screen, the fingerprint sensor can be used to take photos, access locked apps and access the XHide feature on the Infinix Zero 4. Up to a maximum of 5 fingerprint scans can be set up and the PIN feature adds another level of security.

Fast Charging

The Infinix Zero 4 has the X charging feature that allows for less time charging for more lengthy time use. The Infinix Zero 4 has a 3200mAh battery. I will give the average times that X charge uses during the full review.

App Freezer

The App freezer essentially frees us space by storing away apps that you do not regularly use. Even if apps are not in use, they continue to use the smartphones RAM just to lay idle in the background.

From the screen shot below I have “stored away” 8 apps that I do not use. Doing so saved 103MB RAM. Its not a lot since the Zero 4 has 3GB RAM but it helps when I launch heavy gaming apps.

3 Finger Screenshot

The Zero 4 has a lot of gesture modes and smart motion moves but the one that stands out the most is the 3 finger screen shot feature. Taking screen shots is as easy as just running 3 fingers on the screen from top to down.

Voice Capture

Again back to the camera, the voice control feature can activate the Camera app to take pictures. This is particularly helpful during fun group selfies. All you have to say is “cheese“. The other camera triggers are the smile shot and gesture shot that enables photos to be taken by smiling and holding 2 fingers up respectively.

Cast Screen

For those with smart Television sets, then the Cast Screen feature can be used to “mirror” the display of your smartphone on the big screen. Its great for gaming and photo/video presentations at the office or at home.

Physical Features

Now this was just the beginner review. I will do the full review soon but before that here are the physical features sneak peak

  • Full metallic frame and back cover
  • Gorilla glass screen
  • Off screen Navigation buttons
  • Rounded corners

By the way both stabilisation and stabilization are correct English. Just incse I used the words interchangeably.
