The Infinix Note 10 Pro is a big 6.95 Inch/177mm Full HD smartphone with 90Hz refresh rate. It is suited for heavy gaming because it has a Helio G95 processor with 8GB RAM and a big and generous 128GB Internal storage space. I have been using this smartphone for a few weeks now and here is my combined gaming and battery review.
Full HD Screen @90Hz
First of all playing games on a Full HD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate is very enjoyable. I made the following video into a 60 frames per second video so that none of the action will pass you. Enjoy.
Gyroscope
The gyroscope is fun to use and helps a lot while gaming. You can clearly tell the difference between the Call Of Duty Battle Royale play session without gyroscope and with gyroscope On. The aim is greatly improved with gyroscope and the overall game is also enjoyable with the gyroscope sensor set to ON.
As far as lag is concerned, there is no lag. My phone movements were converted into motion inside the game instantaneously.
Game Assistance
The Infinix Note 10 Pro has a gaming assistance engine known as the Einstein AI Engine. This engine accelerates the memory and network and boosts the CPU and GPU as well. All this works in the background while playing heavy games like Call of Duty and PUBG.
The Engines user interface is in the form of a panel known as the game mode panel. This can be accessed by swiping it from the left of the screen while playing a game. The most important feature of this panel is stopping all calls and messages from interfering with your gameplay. Here are the rest of the game mode functions.

- Screen recording &
- Memory cleaning
Overheating
I usually conduct a temperature check before and after a gaming session and here are my results. Before the game started the phone’s temperature was 26° Celsius. During the gaming session, I measured a rise in temperature of up to 35° Celsius and at the end of the session I measured a temperature of 36° Celsius. This was all in a span of 3 hours.
Can we call this overheating? In my opinion, the answer is No. I could only feel a slight warmth at the back of the phone with my hands and that cannot be categorized as overheating.
Battery Capacity After Gaming
I started the gaming video with the battery percentage being 87%. After three hours of non stop online gaming at full brightness, the battery capacity was at 24% which is very impressive.
Battery and Charging
One of the biggest flexes on the Infinix Note series is the battery capacity and less charging time as compared to other smartphones. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is not any different, in fact, it surpassed some of my expectations. First is by having a USB Type C port.
The 5000mAh non removable battery is sufficient and the 33 Watt fast charger fills it up very rapidly. I did an experiment on how fast it charges and here is the video. It only takes 25 minutes to charge the device from 0% to 35%.
Here are the results.
- 4 Minutes 7%
- 10 Minutes 14%
- 17 Minutes 25%
- 25 Minutes 35%
- 34 Minutes 44%
- 41 Minutes 51%
- 48 Minutes 58%
- 1 Hour 71%
- 1 Hour 15 Minutes 84%
- 1 Hour 30 Minutes 92%
- 1 Hour 35 Minutes 94%
- 1 Hour 39 Minutes 95%
- 1 Hour 50 Minutes 97%
- 2 Hours 08 Minutes 99%
Normal Charging Conditions
Now take the above results with a pinch of salt because the screen was on full brightness for the whole video duration. Here is a more practical result where the Note 10 charged from 9% to 69% in only 42 minutes.
Conclusion
The Infinix Note 10 Pro is a very capable heavy gaming smartphone that does not overheat. The battery capacity is fine and the fact that you can charge it to a usable percentage in less time is even more advantageous.
So on nonstop gaming,it may last up to 5-6 hrs?
