A photo of the Infinix smartphone that supports 160 Watts fast charging has surfaced. I had written about plans by Infinix to build 160 watts charging smartphone and it seems like this is now a reality.
From the Image we can see that the phone has an in screen fingerprint scanner and a dot in display front camera. The screen also curves into the side ages so much that its visible from the side. The word now is splashed across the back of the smartphone in what I could guess to be the last word from Infinix’s tagline. The future is now.
At the back we can see two camera lenses and quad flash. The camera bump is also very slim judging from the side profile.
Update 04/07/2021
The concept phone appeared on Unbox Therapy where he did a charging experiment and filled the phone in just over 10 minutes.
Infinix released the Infinix Note 10 Pro a few weeks ago with very good specs including a Helio G95 processor, 8GB RAM and a 5000mAh battery with 33 watt fast charging.
Judging by how awesome the Note 10 Pro is, we can all expect very big specs from this new smartphone. As for now, no one knows if it will be Note or Zero Series smartphone. My bet is that it’s going to be the next Zero series smartphone.
160 Watt Charging
This is the charger that Infinix will ship with the new smartphone. The smartphone in question is also visible in the top right part of the image.
For the Kenyan market, I’m expecting the plug to be a 3 pin British standard. This is because the charger in the image has a euro plug.
Charging Port
The charging port on this new smartphone is a USC Type C port as you can see in the image above. Also interesting is the SIM tray which is now located at the bottom.
